We are a tabletop roleplaying actual play podcast featuring games that remind us of our gaming roots!

In season one we played Low Fantasy Gaming by Pickpocket Press, Its sequel game Tales of Argosa is soon to be released and comes highly recommended by all of us, stop by Pickpocket Games on the web for more info!

Season two saw a transition to a modified Version of Old School Essentials (Advanced) by Gavin Norman, one of many retro offshoots of the world's most popular role playing game. We borrow rules and content from many sources, but with Old School Essentials we used (in no particular order), Old School Feats by Eric Diaz, Into The Wyrd and Wild by Charles Furgeson-Avery, Into the Wild by Todd Leback, The Axian Library by Guiseppe Rotondo, and the Monster Overhaul by Skerples, amongst other sources.

With the close of Season 2 and the addition of two new Retro Role Casters we have moved to a more episodic format for Season 3. We are refering to seasons 1 and 2 as our Zero Level Funnel of Podcasting.

For Level one we have decided to do more of a One+ shot format to try some of the many systems we admire. That adventure begins with ShadowDark and moves to Mothership. Then on to Dolmenwood, Dungeon Crawl Classics, and who knows what...
